L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover 24hr Foundation* - Review

TGI Frugal Friday! :)

Today I'll be sharing my thoughts on the L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover 24HR Foundation.

This foundation is supposed to give 24 hours of full coverage color while staying lightweight and natural looking.  That sounds almost too good to be true!  If you've been reading my blog for a while, you know I always prefer full coverage foundation.  My philosophy is that if I'm going to bother applying it, I want it to make me look flawless!  I won't ever bother with a BB cream or tinted moisturizer.  Those are a waste of time in my opinion!

I like that this foundation comes in a tube with a narrow opening.

I have the shades 303 Nude Beige, 304 Natural Buff, and 305 Natural Beige.

This foundation is very thick but I still feel like I have to use a lot for some reason.  It applies decent with a kabuki brush and that is how I prefer to apply it.  It provides a good medium coverage look and looks best when I wear it with a high end setting powder like the Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.  If I try it without a powder on top or a powder that's not as great, then the foundation practically disappears by the end of my workday.  Even with a high end setting powder, it still fades away a lot by the end of my work day.

Overall, I prefer the original Infallible Foundation over this one.  It has a nicer finish and lasts longer on me.

The L'Oreal Infallible Total Cover 24HR Foundation retails for about $12.99 and can be found anywhere that L'Oreal products are sold including Ulta.
