Beauty Empties & Reviews - September 2017

Hi Beauties!

Here's everything I finished last month and a quick review on each item.

Hair Products

Redken Color Extend Shampoo
This was a perfectly fine shampoo but there was nothing special about it.  I can't even really say if it prolonged my hair color.  I wouldn't repurchase.

Kenra Platinum Snail Anti-Aging Conditioner
I liked this conditioner.  It smells really nice and it made my hair super soft and voluminous.  That said, I still prefer thicker more moisturizing conditioners so I wouldn't repurchase this.

Briogeo Don't Despair Repair, Devacurl, Madam CJ Walker Hair Masks
None of these hair masks really wowed me.  They all did make my hair soft, but didn't really provide any shine or reduce my frizz so I wouldn't repurchase any of these.

Bath & Body Work Honolulu Sun Foaming Hand Wash
This is hands down my favorite summer scent from BBW!  I had the candle too.  I would definitely repurchase and I hope next summer they have the body products for this scent.

Garnier Purifying Foam Cleanser
This was a good face wash.  The packaging was a bit strange because it's not really a pump, it's a squeeze bottle.  It did a good job at removing my makeup as my first cleanser (I cleanse my face twice each night).

Aquaphor Healing Ointment
This is a dry skin cure-all for me!  I will always have this product in my home.

Rimmel Wonder Lash Mascara
This has a slightly bendy wand which really has no purpose.  The mascara formula itself is not very dark and has no effect on my lashes.  I wouldn't repurchase.

Jordana Modern Matte Lipsticks
This is the driest lipstick I've ever used.  It's so dry that it skips when I try to apply it.  I wouldn't repurchase this.

Fenty Beauty Foundation
I got 4 uses out of this sample and it just didn't work for me.  In fact, I included it in my September Favorites & Fails post as a fail.  Click to read that post if you want more details about my thoughts on it.  Suffice it to say that it just didn't last on my skin and wore off blotchy after just a couple of hours.

Well that's everything I finished in September.  I can't believe it's already October!  I refuse to embrace fall until Oct 1st so just this past weekend I took out all my fall/pumpkin/Halloween decorations so now I'm finally coming to terms with it.  :)
