Play! By Sephora Unboxing & Review - April 2017

Hi Beauties!

The Play! By Sephora box is a beauty subscription service that is $10 per month and includes 5 deluxe beauty samples and a perfume.  Every sample is from a high end brand that is sold at Sephora.  The samples come in a cloth drawstring bag.  You can sign up HERE to get on the waitlist.

Let's get right into what was included in the box!

Dr. Dennis Gross Ferulic + Retinol Wrinkle Recovery Peel
This is a professional-grade peel infused with retinol and ferulic acid to exfoliate the skin, restore firmness, and reveal radiance.  I was excited to try this.  I did try both peel pads and didn't notice much of an improvement in my skin.  Perhaps you need to use this many more times to see any effects.

Ole Henriksen Truth Serum Vitamin C Anti-Aging Collagen Booster
This is a nourishing serum that contains vitamin C complex to brighten and firm the skin for a healthy-looking radiant complexion.  I was glad to see this in my box this month and I look forward to trying it.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
I've tried this primer many times and I know that I like it.  That said, it seems like this primer is so easy to get so I would have liked to try another brand.

Make Up Forever Aqua XL Eye Pencil
This is supposed to be a waterproof eyeliner.  I don't need another black eyeliner so I wasn't very excited to see this in my box.

Sephora Collection Waterproof Eye Makeup Remover
I've heard good things about this eye makeup remover so I'm glad to be able to try it.

Juliette Has A Gun Not A Perfume
This is called an "anti-perfume" because it's composed of only 1 fresh, clean and crisp note which is Cetalox which I've never heard of.  I can tell you that it has a feminine fresh scent that I like.

Overall I though this month's Play! By Sephora Box was ok.  I'm excited to try the Ole Henriksen serum and the Sephora eye makeup remover.

You can sign up for the Play! By Sephora box HERE.
