Here's everything I finished in March and mini-reviews of each item!
Hair Products (get ready for a bunch of mediocre products)
It's a 10 Miracle Leave-In Product and Miracle Daily Conditioner
Neither of these products was anything special. The conditioner is a perfectly fine conditioner, but like I said, nothing amazing, especially for the price. I've tried the leave-in spray before and even in the past I've never noticed it doing anything special to my hair.
Strivectin Deep Repair Mask, Biogeo Don't Despair Repair Deep Conditioning Mask
Again, neither of these hair conditioners did anything special to my hair. To me, a good hair mask makes my hair noticeably softer and shinier. Using these two masks did nothing that any regular hair conditioner can't do.
Drybar Hot Toddy Heat & UV Protectant
This may or may not have protected my hair against heat, but it certainly did nothing noticeable to my hair like make it soft or shiny. I always compare these types of products to my favorite heat protectant, the Kenra Blow-Dry Spray which not only protects my hair but it also make my hair super soft and shiny.
Bath & Body Works Wild Honeysuckle Foaming Hand Soap
This is one of my favorite scents from BBW! I love their foaming hand soaps and always have quite a few back-ups.
Sephora Instant Hydrogel Eye Mask
I only bought this because it was on sale. I didn't realize that it didn't have eye holes. Meaning that you have to close your eyes and lie back for the 10 minutes you have it on. That's incredibly annoying to me, I don't close my eyes for that long unless I'm taking a nap or going to bed. I ended up cutting this and only using it under my eyes. It did feel cooling but didn't do anything else beneficial for my eyes.
Algenist Complete Eye Renewal Balm
This was a nice moisturizing eye cream. It was thick but not too thick that I couldn't wear it under makeup.
First Aid Beauty Triple Remedy Overnight Balm
I love this eye cream. My under eyes often get super dry and flaky in the winter and this product does a great job at helping combat the dryness. It's super thick so I only use it at night before bed.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Concealer
This is my favorite concealer at the drugstore. It's light but gives good coverage. I'd repurchase this.
Milk Makeup Blur Stick
I didn't enjoy using this under my makeup. I didn't notice that it made my foundation go on smoothly or last longer. I prefer creamier makeup primers.
Becca Backlight Priming Filter
This primer gives a not-so-subtle sheen to the skin. However since I use full coverage foundation, that sheen is not noticeable after I apply my foundation. I like the moisturizing aspect to this primer and I do think that it helps my foundation apply more smoothly.
Marc Jacobs Highliner Gel Crayon
I've only had this eyeliner for a year or so and it's completely dried out and unusable. Typically eyeliner pencils last for years and years. I'd never repurchase this product.
Smashbox Always Sharp Waterproof Kohl Liner
This was a really nice eyeliner when it worked. It was really black and creamy. However, it was a mechanical twist up eyeliner and it simply broke. I can't twist it up anymore. This is disappointing since I only got a few uses out of it.
Well that's everything I used up in March. Have you tried any of these products?
