February Glossybox* - Unboxing & Review

Hi Beauties!

Today I have a new-to-me beauty box to share with you!  As you may already know, I LOVE beauty subscription boxes.  They are like a little surprise gift every month.  For a beauty product addict like myself, they are perfect because you get to try brands and products that may have never even been on your radar.

Glossybox is a monthly beauty subscription service that features five luxury products for $21 and free shipping.  There are 3, 6, and 12 month options that will each lower the monthly price by either a couple or several dollars.  Personally speaking, I don't like commitment so I prefer the $21/month option but the cheaper/longer options would be great for gift-giving.  The boxes include many lesser known brands and some well-known brands that we all love like Tarte, Benefit, Burberry, and Essie.

Let's take a look at the beautiful packaging.

This is the kind of box you keep for storage, decoration, or to use as a future gift.  It's very sturdy too.

The items inside are packaged really thoughtfully with tissue paper and a sticker.

Now let's finally get into what was included in the February Glossybox!

Perfect Formula Pink Gel Coat - $30
This brand is sold at Sephora.  This is a clear nail polish that has a hint of pink.  It strengthens, brightens, seals and protects the nails with keratin.  I just got a gel mani and those typically destroy my nails so I'll be putting this to good use in about a week.

Vichy Thermal Spa Water - $14
This "spa water" is derived from volcanoes and contains 15 essential minerals that shoot from magmatic rock (really??).  It feels refreshing and can be used to refresh your makeup.  To be honest, this product doesn't excite me.  That said, I do have another product similar to this and I keep it in my beach bag.  It stays cool in the heat and feels great to spray my face and neck when I get too hot.

Estee Edit Pink Peony Overnight Water Pack - ~$7, full size - $50
This water-gel mask is infused with pink peony, fruit extracts and antioxidants, and offers hydration to smooth and brighten the skin.  I love using super moisturizing products after using a mud mask since those usually dry me out.  This product felt really nice and hydrating after I used my GlamGlow mask this week.

Korres Eyeshadow Single in White Sunflower and Evening Primrose - $18
I've always heard how great Korres skincare is and I didn't even know they had makeup so I was excited to see some makeup in this month's Glossybox.  This eyeshadow is formulated with sunflower and evening primrose oils to condition the eye area.  It's very soft and buttery and applies nicely.  This shade will be a nice lid color or I can use it to highlight the inner corners of my eyes.

Jeanne Arthes L'Eau De Rose - $26
This perfume smells like a glorious garden!  It's extremely floral and feminine but very strong.  I may pass this along to someone who will appreciate the scent more than me.

Overall, I really liked my first Glossybox!  I'm most excited about the Estee Edit moisturizing mask, the Korres eyeshadow, and the strengthening nail polish is great to have during the winter.

The total value of the items in this month's box is about $95, that's about 4.5 times the cost of the box which is great!

I'd say this is a great box to try if you enjoy beauty products from luxury brands that you know and some that you may not have heard of yet.  For $21 and no commitment, it's a great option to treat yourself and try it out for a month.  Also, if you sign up in February, you get a free GWP of a  full-sized Milano Mascara valued at $19 with code EYEADORE.

To sign up, click HERE or any other Glossybox links in this post.

Have you tried Glossybox or any of the products in this month's box?
