Here's everything I finished in September and my thoughts on each item.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation
Still my holy grail foundation! At this point I've tried dozens of high end and affordable foundations and nothing comes close to how great this one is. Read my full review by clicking the link above.
Burberry Fresh Glow Primer
I got 2 uses out of this primer sample and I thought it was good. I can't say that I totally love it after 2 uses though, for that reason I wouldn't purchase a full size.
Maybelline Superstay Better Skin Foundation
This is actually a great foundation! However, I HAVE to use a primer and a high end setting powder or else my face gets blotchy after just a few hours. The only setting powder that this looked good with was my Laura Mercier Translucent powder. It looked awful with no setting powder or with my Rimmel Stay Matte Powder.
Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder
This is a fantastic setting powder! It keeps my foundation flawless looking all day. I can't wait until the Sephora VIB sale in November to be able to repurchase this.
Tarte Smooth Operator Setting Powder
This is a terrible setting powder! It has a horrible white cast in flash photos (check out this Instagram photo), and I can actually see the white powdery-ness on my skin in certain lights. This isn't actually finished but I'm getting rid of it because it's just so bad.
Nars Radiant Creamy Concealer
This is a decent concealer but not the best I've ever tried. I don't really get the hype behind it.
Murad Intensive-C Radiance Peel
I love this face mask! It has a tingling and cooling feel to the skin. My skin always feels so fresh and looks a lot brighter after using this. I already have a backup of it.
GlamGlow SuperMud Mask
This is my favorite GlamGlow mask! Nothing has ever come close to making my skin glow like this stuff! I have 1 backup of this and 2 backups of the YouthMud mask, I can't be without these. I always purchase them whenever there is a sale.
Korres Advanced Brightening Sleeping Facial
Besides being a nice moisturizer, I didn't notice any improvement in my skin when I used this, and it lasted me a good 2 months. But it did smell amazing. I wouldn't repurchase.
Kenra Conditioner for Hydration
Unfortunately, I didn't like this conditioner which is weird because I've loved every other Kenra product I've tried. It was very thin and not moisturizing enough for my dry hair.
Bumble and Bumble Blow Dry Repair
This is a cream that will repair your hair with every blow dry. I didn't notice any improvements in my hair when I used this. I wouldn't repurchase.
Matrix Miracle Creator
This is a multi-tasking treatment spray for the hair. Again, I didn't notice any benefits to my hair such as softness or smoothness. I wouldn't repurchase.
Well that's everything I finished in September. I was pretty proud of myself that I finished so many makeup products which is very difficult for us makeup hoarders! :) I feel super accomplished when I do finish a makeup product. Is that weird? Anyone else feel that way??
