Here's everything I finished up in July and mini reviews of each item!
Frizz Ease Hair Spray
This is my favorite drugstore hairspray. It does what it's supposed to do without any frills, it holds my curls well. I'll always repurchase this hairspray.
Kenra Platinum Blow Dry Spray
This spray helps my hair dry a little quicker while also protecting it from heat and making it less frizzy. I have 2 backups of this!
Hask Keratin Smoothing Shine Oil
This was a perfectly good hair serum but no better or worse than anything else I own. I enjoy trying different hair oils so I doubt that I'd ever re-buy a specific one (except for my beloved Morrocanoil).
Bumble and Bumble Don't Blow It Hair Styler
This is used on wet hair on days that you don't want to heat style it. This product didn't do anything whatsoever for my hair. I wouldn't repurchase.
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant
This is the best deodorant I've ever used. I have a ton of backups of it.
Murad Clarifying Body Spray
I don't have body acne but I tried using this on my KP and it didn't really help with that.
Skintimate Shave Gel
This is not my favorite shave gel as it doesn't provide enough slip for my razor. I prefer the Gillette brand shave gel.
Bath & Body Works Pink Chiffon Shower Gel
I love Bath & Body Works shower gels because they always smells so nice. I always stock up on these during their semi-annual sales.
I use this as a thick overnight moisturizer when my skin is really dry. I recently got a micro-needling procedure which caused a lot of flakiness and this product really helped.
Origins Drink-Up Intensive Overnight Mask
I use this just like how I use the GlamGlow ThirstyMud. This also did a great job at helping my flakiness after my micro-needling.
These cotton pads are absolutely amazing! They are thick and feel great on the skin. You can read my full review by clicking the link above.
Pixi Glow Tonic Exfoliating Toner
I really liked this toner to remove the last remnants of my makeup after cleansing. I know it is a favorite amongst many, but I didn't find it to be any better or worse than many other toners that I've tried.
Origins Night-A-Mins Oil
Although I only got a couple of uses out of this, I did like it. I noticed that my skin was a bit brighter the morning after I used this product. I'd like to purchase this at some point. Or maybe try a larger sample.
Sunday Riley Good Genes
This was just in my July Favorites. This sample lasted me about 2 months and I enjoyed it because I did notice that it lightened some of my hyperpigmentation. However, a full bottle is $105 so I'm not sure if I will ever purchase this.
Becca Ultimate Coverage Complexion Cream Foundation
I love full coverage foundations but this was way too thick and felt really thick on the skin. I didn't like this product at all.
Cover FX Calming Primer
This was a nice primer. But to be honest I didn't notice anything special about it so I wouldn't purchase a full size.
Hourglass Mineral Veil Primer
This was another nice primer. My foundation went on nicely but I'm not sure it prolonged the life of my foundation on my skin. I wouldn't purchase a full size of this because I didn't notice anything special about it.
Makeup Forever Mat Velvet Foundation
Another meh product. This foundation was decent but I've tried other foundations that I like much better. I wouldn't repurchase this at all.
Maybelline Fit Me Matte and Poreless Foundation
I didn't like this foundation at all. A few hours after wearing this it practically disappears from my skin. I've tried using it with various primers, setting powders and setting sprays and it never lasted past a few hours.
Whew, I finished a ton of products last month! What product do you always seem to finish and repurchase right away??
