Available in 4 intensely pigmented shades, the new long-lasting Infallible Matte-Matic Liner glides on smooth and quick for a rich intensity, while the Infallible Black Velvet Liner delivers a soft, precise, customizable application. Both liners are safe and gentle enough for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.
First I'll talk about the Matte-Matic Liners. I received all 4 shades, Taupe Grey, Navy Matte, Deep Brown, and Ultra Black.
These twist-up liners have a gel cream formula, are waterproof and supposed to last 24 hours. They are definitely very soft. In fact, they are so soft that after first swatching them, the tip of 3 out of 4 of the liners broke off.
Next I'll talk about the Infallible Black Velvet liner. The tip of this eyeliner is 2 sided so you can create thin or thick lines. This is very much like a marker and is supposed to be smudge resistant up to 14 hours.
I love this eyeliner! I apply it on it's "skinny" side and barely press down so I can get a nice thin line. It's super quick and easy to apply. I wouldn't recommend using this eyeliner to create a wing because that can get a little wonky with the thickness of the tip. It lasts all day on me with no smudging.

Overall I think the the L'Oreal Infallible Matte-Matic Liners are just ok, there are better eyeliners at the drugstore (these Milani ones are my faves). I really love the Black Velvet Liner. The Matte-Matics are around $8.99 and the Black Velvet is around $9.99, both can be found at Ulta or anywhere that L'Oreal products are sold.
