Here's everything I used up in March.
Make It Straight
This product is supposed to give your hair "salon blowout result" that lasts for 20 shampoos. It's a huge pain to apply. You are supposed to use a clarifying shampoo and then come out of the shower then apply the cream and let it sit for 20 minutes. Then you blow dry you hair which is next to impossible to do because your hair is pretty covered in this cream. Then you have to flat iron your hair. I have a wet/dry flat iron so I used that. It just doesn't seem right because it smells awful and gives off soooo much smoke. Then you let it sit another 15 minutes. Lastly, you rinse your hair and condition it. This product made my hair slightly more smooth, definitely NOT worth all the effort it took. Also, it makes my hair smell like garbage in the shower (I assume the steam releases the smell). I would 100% NOT recommend this product.
RedKen Triple Take 32 Hairspray
I really liked this hairspray. It's not a super strong hold but it held my curls ok. Also it smells amazing, like perfume.
Murad Smoothing Skin and Lip Care
This is my current favorite lip balm. I slather it all over my lips before bed and it makes them feel soft in the morning.
GlamGlow Gravity Mud (not shown)
I had a sample of this and used it once. It's really cool because it turns silver on your face but I honestly saw no lifting or firming effects on my skin. Then again, my skin isn't really droopy...yet. :)
Elf Makeup Remover Cleansing Cloths
These are great makeup removing cloths. I don't use cleansing cloths on my face unless I'm traveling so I only used these to remove swatches and they worked great for that. I didn't have to do too much rubbing on my skin to get color off.
Ole Henriksen Sheer Transformation
This was a really nice light moisturizer.
Shray Ms. Amazing Moisturizing Mask
I got this sheet mask in a Boxycharm box and I didn't like it at all. It kind of tore apart before I even applied it and was really huge for my face. It was moisturizing enough, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Murad Hydro-Dynamic Ultimate Moisture
This is a great moisturizer for dry skin. It's not too thick but it does a great job at moisturizing my dry winter skin. I have a full review of this product coming soon.
Too Faced Shadow Insurance
This is a good eyelid primer. It is a bit drying (but I think they all are and kind of have to be).
L'Oreal Silkissime Eyeliner in "Highlighter"
This was a beautiful and creamy rose gold eyeliner. However, it has dried out and now the actual product slides in and out of the pencil, if that make sense.
Lorac POREfection Mattifying Primer
This is a great primer that has a silicone consistency which I love. My foundation applies really nicely over this primer.
I joined Snapchat! Add el.beautyisle to check out the short beauty clips I post.
Did you guys watch The Walking Dead season finale? Ughh, I can't wait till October. Then again I CAN certainly wait because I don't want summer to fly by too quickly!
I recently finished binge-watching The Office on Netflix and I LOVED it! I adored every character and now I miss them so much!
Now I'm watching Prison Break and wow, what a great show! Not to mention the 2 brothers are smoking hot...especially my new love Wentworth Miller. :)
