Here's everything I finished throughout September.
Banana Boat Deep Tanning Dry Oil Spray
I tan pretty easily and this just helps speed things along. Yes, I'm well aware I should be wearing a higher SPF which I do. I start my beach days out with an SPF of 30 or higher and later in the day I apply this. It really gives me a nice dark tan while protecting me from burning. I always prefer sun protection that comes in sprays because I hate having to rub lotion in and getting my hands sticky when there's sand around.
Lush Ro's Argan Body Conditioner
This is an in-shower body lotion, you apply it and then rinse it off after a few seconds. It does make my skin soft but nothing too special in my opinion. What made me really love this was the scent...it's amazing! It smells like a rose-tea, something I've never smelled before. However, this product is very expensive ($34 for a tub!) so I wouldn't repurchase. I might consider it if it came in a smaller size but I would actually prefer it as a regular body lotion and not an in-shower one.
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant
This is pretty much the only deodorant I use, it works.
I think this brand is only sold at Walgreens. There was nothing special about this shampoo whatsoever. I wouldn't repurchase.
Rejuvenique Hair Serum
I really liked this hair serum because it tamed my frizz and made my hair look smooth. A little goes a long way with this stuff which is good because it's really expensive at $99 a bottle! For that reason, I would not repurchase this. You can read my full review here.
Marc Anthony Beach Spray
I didn't like this wave/beach spray. It didn't do much to enhance my waves and it made my hair more frizzy.
John Frieda Sea Waves Sea Salt Spray
I did like this salt spray. It enhanced my waves when I sprayed it on damp hair and it didn't make my hair more frizzy. I'd repurchase if it was on sale.
Shiseido Facial Cotton
I absolutely love these! I'll never be able to use flimsy facial cottons ever again. That said, I found a more affordable dupe for these and I'll be telling you all about it in a few weeks so stay tuned!
Murad Rapid Age Spot and Pigment Lightening Serum
I loved this stuff! This face serum did a great job at lightening my sun spots. You can read my full review here.
St. Ives Apricot Scrub
This is a great affordable face scrub. I already have a full size tube of this.
I love this! I use it as a moisturizer and I apply it after I use either the GlamGlow PowerMud or YouthMud masks. You can read my review of all things GlamGlow here.
Armani Luminous Foundation
This was a nice foundation but it's not completely full coverage which is what I prefer. It's also not worth the $62 price tag and definitely not as good as my gold standard....Esteee Lauder Double Wear.
Be A Bombshell Liquid Eyeliner
I absolutely loved this eyeliner. It had a stiff felt tip so it was really easy to apply. It was very black and didn't smudge.
Marc Jacobs Lash Lifter Gel Volume Mascara
This mascara was way too wet and didn't do anything for my lashes. It really weighed them down and didn't give them any definition at all.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation
This was very thick full coverage foundation and it lasted all day. I did like it but it felt very very heavy on my skin. I actually like the whipped version of this foundation better because it feels lighter yet gives the same coverage.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
This was a good primer. I have about a thousand primer samples to go through so I won't be purchasing any anytime soon.
I can't believe I had my second blogiversary! Did you enter my giveaway? I'm giving away the limited edition sold out Morphe/Jaclyn Hill Favorites Palette!
I HATE this new colder weather. I've been noticing lately that a lot of these girls who love fall live in places like Florida and California...sure I'd love it if I lived there too! :)
I'm only slightly ashamed that in 2 days I purchased 8 lip products! I purchased new liquid lipsticks from Dose of Colors, Gerard Cosmetics, and ColourPop. Stay tuned for reviews!
