Ulta & MAC Haul + First Impressions

Hi everyone!

Man, have I been bad lately!  I've been doing quite a bit of shopping!  Last month Ulta had 3X points for every purchase and their points system is really great because you get cash credit to use for future purchases, not silly little samples.  Also, MAC recently revamped their website and with that they offered $10 off any $50 which is amazing because MAC never has sales or specials.

Ulta & Haul Haul

Let's start with Ulta.

Prada Candy
This is the first perfume I've purchased for myself in about 7 years.  I love this scent, it smells like candy to me.

Urban Decay Vice Limited Edition Palette
I had no intention of buying this palette but Ulta "made" me when they lowered the price to by $20!  I personally love bold eye shadow colors so Urban Decay's Vice Palettes are perfect for me.  I use my Vice 2 pretty frequently and I know I'll be using this a ton as well.

OPi That's Hula-Rious
This is my absolute favorite nail polish at the moment.  The color reminds me of mint chocolate chip ice cream!  You can see a photo of my manicure using this polish on my Instagram.  I will say however that the formula is pretty streaky which surprised me because I've always found that OPi formulas are usually thick and easy to work with.

Essie Mint Candy Apple
I've wanted to try this polish forever so I figured I'd just buy it.  It's kind of a Tiffany blue color, very pretty.  But like most of my other Essie polishes, it's streaky.  Not as streaky as Turks & Caicos though so I guess that's good.  I wish Essie didn't have such a great color range so I could stop buying their polishes.

St. Ives Even & Bright Scrub
I really like the original apricot scrub so I figured I'd try this one.  Who doesn't want even and bright skin??

Now onto MAC.  Admittedly, I'm not a huge MAC lover like most other beauty fanatics.  Before this haul, I only owned 3 lipsticks (well now 4), 2 glosses, and a mini bottle of Fix+ (which I never use).  That's it!

Matte Lipstick in Whirl
This is all the rage right now in the online beauty community.  I've seen photos of Whirl on other women and it had rosy/mauve undertones, that is not the case with me.  On me, this lipstick is straight up brown.  I do like it though.

Lip Liner in Soar
This lip liner is gorgeous!  The shade is totally up my alley because it's a rosy brown.  It's not the creamiest lip liner I own though.

Mineralize Skin Finish in Soft & Gentle
This is one of MAC's most popular highlighters and I've wanted to try it for a while.  It's a gorgeous champagne and it's VERY shimmery.

Mineralize Skin Finish in Cheeky Bronze
I don't really know what to call this.  I have a bit of a tan right now so I've worn it as a highlighter and it's gorgeous.  I can also use it as a blush topper or I can even wear it on it's own.  It's a gorgeous shimmery bronze.

Blush in Margin
MAC has tons of nice blushes but as I stated above, I've never owned one.  I was watching a Jaclyn Hill tutorial and she applied this blush and it was absolutely gorgeous and gave her an out of this world sheen.  I immediately put it on my MAC shopping list.  Margin is a peach shade with a golden shimmer.  It looks pretty blah in the pan but once applied it gives me a very pretty sheen.

Phew, that's it...for now.  Do you own any of these products?  Do you have any application tips for me?  What other MAC products are must haves?
