A nice body scrub is a staple in my Sunday night spa ritual. I use scrubs through the year for various reasons. In the winter they are great to slough off dry skin, in the spring/summer they're perfect to prepare your skin for a self-tan.
The Adovia Dead Sea Salt Scrub is made with real Dead Sea Mineral Salt which I think is really cool. This scrub is unlike any other I've tried because it contains oil. The oil is all natural and moisturizing. I wasn't expecting all the oil when I was opening it, so just a warning. Pay attention and peel off the plastic covering carefully so you don't spill the oil everywhere!
I apply this scrub with my bare hands (meaning that I don't use a poof or exfoliating gloves). I scoop out a handful, including some oil and just massage it into my skin all over. I need a few handfuls to cover my entire body. Although "Ocean Breeze" is on the package, I found that the main scent of this is baby powder, with a slight hint of an Ocean Breeze type of scent.
I do enjoy using this body scrub. The oil is nice in that I don't feel super dry afterwards which can be the case with most other scrubs. The Adovia Dead Seat Salt Scrub is really affordable at under $20 and is available through Amazon Prime here. You can purchase it for slightly cheaper at Cleopatra's Choice, but you'd have to pay shipping.
What is your favorite body scrub?
