You're probably aware that matte liquid lipsticks are all the rage right now and recently drugstores have been jumping on the bandwagon. Today I'll be sharing with you my thoughts on Rimmel London's version, the Provocalips 16 Hour Kiss Proof Lip Color.
These lippies are double ended with the color on one end, and a clear substance (I know that sounds strange but it's definitely not gloss) on the other that is supposed to lock in the color and provide some shine.
The shade Make Your Move is a nude/brown color.
The shade I'll Call You is a dusty pink.
I apply 2 layers of the color and let that dry. Once that dries my lips feel REALLY sticky. Not goopy sticky like from a lipgloss, but actually sticky. My top and bottom lip feel like they stick together. That feeling disappears once you apply the clear locking substance. The final finish of this product once the clear stuff is on top isn't totally matte and it's not glossy either. It's a perfect creamy medium. As far as wear goes, without eating or drinking it lasts several hours on my lips.

Overall I really like the Rimmel Provocalips and recommend them! They retail for around $7 and can be found anywhere Rimmel products are sold.
Have you tried these lippies? Have you tried any of the other liquid lipsticks from the drugstore?
