Sigma Beauty Haul*

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and if you don't celebrate, then I hope you had a nice relaxing day off! :)

Today I bring to you a few new-to-me items from Sigma Beauty.  Sigma is very well known for their high quality brushes and they are becoming more well known for their cosmetics.  I recently became a Sigma Affiliate and was sent an introductory welcome gift.  I'd like to discuss the items I received in this kit since they are new to me and might be new to you too!

I received a silicone brush cleanser, 3 brushes, a lip pencil, gloss, and a blush.

Mini Brush Cleansing Glove - Full Size $35
This will really come in handy when I'm washing my smaller eye shadow brushes.  For the full size glove, what you do is put the glove on, add some brush cleansing solution (I use face wash) and just swirl your brush around on top of the glove.  I currently use something similar so I can attest to the fact that this really speeds up the brush cleaning process!

Sigma Glove

Lip Base in Go Dutch - $12
These are nice lip pencils that can be worn alone as a long wearing matte color or worn under a lipstick or gloss.

Sigma Lip Pencil

Lip Vex in Slip - $10
This is a nice lip gloss that feels creamy and not too sticky.  This is a peachy nude color that is pretty opaque.  Peachy shades don't look good with my skintone but this will work great if I need to tone down a darker lip color.

Sigma Lip Gloss

Powder Blush in Cheeky - $12
This blush is kind of a matte peachy orange shade.  It's super pigmented, blends really well, and lasts all day on me.

Sigma Blush

L-R: Blush, Lip Liner, Gloss

And now for the stars of the show...the brushes!

E55 Eye Shading Brush - $14
In my opinion you can never have too many shader brushes!  They get dirty right away so unless you add the same exact color to your lids every single day, then you need a few in your arsenal.  This is the travel size version of the brush which can be found in the Color Pop Brush Kit.

P84 Precision Angled Brush - $19
This brush will be perfect to contour the sides of the nose and to get a super precise contour in the hollows of the cheeks.

F86 Tapered Kabuki Brush - $24
This brush is perfect for blending out concealer.  It definitely looks too big for such a task but trust me, it's absolutely perfect (YouTuber Jaclyn Hill uses this brush for concealer all the time!).

As you can see the makeup is very reasonably priced, not that much more expensive than drugstore prices!  Stay tuned for reviews of the brushes and I'm sure most of these items will make it into my monthly favorites posts once I start really using them.

Before I even became an affiliate I took advantage of Sigma's Cyber Monday sale and ordered the entire Kabuki Brush Kit so stay tuned for a haul/review post on that too.  Spoiler alert...these brushes are unlike anything I've ever used and the hype is real.  The words velvety soft come to mind!
