Best and Worst Beauty Products of 2014

Hi everyone!

Today I bring you the #1 best and worst beauty products that I've discovered in 2014.  As beauty bloggers we try TONS of products through the year so we've definitely done our research and for us to pick a fave, you know we've REALLY got to love it.  I know that I love learning other blogger's favorite products and their advice on what to stay away from.  Diane over at Style Context invited me to join her on a blogger collaboration so that we can all share our favorite and worst products of the year.  Also joining us is Monica from Jersey Girl Texan Heart and Simone from Fashion Runs The World.

My Best Beauty Product of 2014

GlamGlow Mud Masks

GLAMGLOW - YOUTHMUD™ TINGLEXFOLIATE TREATMENT

There is a TON of hype for the GlamGlow masks and I can tell you that the hype is well deserved!  You can see my full review of the YouthMud Mask here.  The YouthMud (black jar) and the SuperMud (white jar) masks make my skin look absolutely glowing and bright.  My skin feels as clean as it does after a professional facial.  I also love the ThirstyMud (blue jar) mask for major hydration.  These masks are hands down my favorite beauty finds of 2014.  I have backup jars of these and my backups have backups!  Tip: These masks have been popping up at Marshalls across the country for MUCH cheaper than you can get it for online or at Sephora so keep a lookout!

My Least Favorite Beauty Product of 2014

Revlon Grow Luscious Lash Potion Mascara, Waterproof Blackest Black- .34 fl oz

To be fair I've only used 2 Revlon mascaras, the Lash Potion and the Bold Lacquer.  These are mediocre mascaras at best.  If you look at the photos in my reviews you will see that these mascaras did nothing for my lashes.  They did not lengthen, darken, or give any volume.  In most instances my lashes looked better without mascara!  I have drugstore mascaras that do more in 1 coat than either of these mascaras did with 3 or 4.

Well there are my picks for the best and worst beauty products of 2014.  These are just products that worked or didn't work for me.  I'm working on full lists of my skin, hair, and makeup faves for 2014 so please stay tuned for that!

I'd like to thank Diane for inviting me to join this fun collaboration!  Be sure to check out what the other ladies chose for their best and worst products of the year!

What is your favorite beauty product that you discovered this year?  Your least favorite?
