Today's Frugal Friday will feature the Revlon Lash Potion Mascara. I will be discussing the waterproof version in the shade Blackest Black. This mascara boasts "spellbinding" volume and length. (spellbinding...potion...haha)
Magically transform lashes to lush, long, and lustrous. A potion with strengthening proteins drenches lashes for volume. The triple-groove wand combs through for clump-free length. In an instant, lashes go from ordinary to anything but. - Revlon
This mascara has a natural bristle brush and it's pretty large.
Below are my lashes with 1-4 coats of this mascara.

This mascara does an ok job at giving me some volume and darkening up my lashes. Overall I would say that this mascara is mediocre at best. I have mascaras that with 1 coat, look as good as this does with 4 coats. Four coats of ANY mascara should give me major drama, and this barely gave me any. I'm not surprised that I didn't like this mascara because the Revlon Bold Lacquer Mascara didn't work for me either. These are the only mascaras I've ever tried from Revlon and now I'm wondering if they have ANY good mascaras. I've heard that the 3D Volume mascara is good. Has anyone tried that one?
The Revlon Lash Potion Mascara retails for around $8-$9 depending on the store and can be found anywhere that Revlon products are sold.
Have a wonderful weekend everyone!
