Drybar Mudslide Nourishing Hair Mask* - Review

Have you guys heard of Drybar salons?  They're been popping up all over the country.  These are salons that don't offer cuts or colors, just blowouts.  I've actually never been to one but I do love the concept.  I know I'm not the only person out there who no matter how hard I try, I can never replicate the beautiful blowout I get after a salon service!  And that is exactly what these salons provide, a nice blowout for a special occasion or just a night out.  Genius!

Drybar even sells hair tools (like blow dryers and curling irons) as well as hair products.  Today I'll be talking about the Mudeslide Nourishing Hair Mask.

From Drybar: Bring moisture and strength back into dry and damaged hair.  Helps restore and invigorate over-processed and chemically treated hair.

I've been getting highlights (i. e. bleaching) my hair for the past 15 years so my hair is the definition of over-processed and chemically treated...they might as well put my name right on this jar!

I love the light pink packaging and that this is cocktail themed, the directions are labelled, "How to Serve".

This hair mask smells really nice.  After I shampoo, I apply a good amount of this to my hair and then put on a shower cap.  I've read that wearing a shower cap when using a hair mask really allows the mask to penetrate your hair.  I leave the mask on for about 10 minutes and then rinse out.

This is a great hair mask.  My hair is really easy to brush through after my shower and it's super soft once it's dry.  I have quite a few hair masks in my shower right now and since I've had this one, I haven't been reaching for the others.

This mask retails for $38 and can be found at Drybar salons, on the Drybar website, and Sephora.

Have you been to a Drybar salon?
