I was lucky enough to be invited aboard the Odyssey Cruise ship to experience their Brunch Cruise with their new Blood Mary Bar. Me and several other bloggers got to eat, drink, and explore the ship last Sunday for a 4 hour cruise.

Lorac Pro Palette 2 - Review & Tutorials
Today I'll discuss the beauty that is the Lorac Pro Palette 2. I never bought the first one and whenever I heard the hype surrounding it I thought, "how great could it really be, afterall I love my Urban Decay and Too Faced palettes!"
Let me tell you, the hype is real and well deserved. The shadows are just soo buttery and smooth. They blend like a dream, and are crazy pigmented! All you need is one sweep of shadow and you're good. Doing a smokey eye is super quick because I don't have to keep applying color!

August Ipsy Bag
Hi beauties, I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!
Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service. For just $10 per month you get 4-6 deluxe sample size or full size products from high end to drugstore brands. Everything comes in a cute makeup bag which is different each month.
This month's theme is "Beauty Schooled" which is appropriate because it's back to school shopping time. The bag this month is really cute with orange polka dots and will be perfect for makeup brushes. I received 5 products this month and only a lip balm was full size.

Frugal Friday - Revlon Color Burst Lip Butter - Review
Welcome to another edition of Frugal Friday! Today I'll be featuring the Revlon Color Burst Lip Butters. These were hugely popular towards the end of last year which is when I bought mine. Since I've had them for so long I was actually really surprised that I hadn't talked about them yet on the blog.
These Revlon Lip Butters are lips balms that provide a nice wash of color.

Murad Intensive Wrinkle Reducer for Eyes* - Review
Hi beauties!
Today I'll be discussing skincare. Specifically, an amazing anti-aging eye cream that I was able to try from Murad.
Created in 1989, Murad is the country's first doctor-brand of clinical skincare. Everything I've tried from Murad has been amazing and all the products have lived up to their claims.
The Murad Intensive Wrinkle Reducer for Eyes is an eye cream that contains Durian Cell Reform. Durian Cell Reform enhances the penetration of the active anti-aging ingredients in this eye cream which include:

Whitening Lightning (Gerard Cosmetics) Lipgloss - Review & Swatches
If you're a part of or follow the online beauty community, chances are you've heard of Whitening Lightning (now Gerard Cosmetics) Lipglosses.
I didn't pay much attention to the brand until I started hearing about their lighted lipglosses. Ever since I saw them featured on my favorite beauty Youtube channels, I'd been wanting to get my hands on some.

Beauty Products I Used Up - July Empties
TGI freaking F!
Let's dig through my trash, shall we?! Here's all the beauty products I finished in the month of July and mini reviews of each.
Giovanni Brazilian Keratin & Argan Oil Ultra-Sleek Body Wash
This was a wonderful hard core exfoliating body wash. I didn't feel any benefits of the keratin and argan oil though. I believe this was from TJ Max. I would repurchase.
Absolute Make-up Cleansing Tissues
These were terrible makeup remover wipes. I don't even think this package was that old (maybe a few months) before I opened it but these were not very moist and did a terrible job at removing any of my makeup. I wouldn't repurchase.
Simple Oil Balancing Cleansing Wipes
These wipes weren't that great but they weren't terrible either. They definitely didn't make a dent in my waterproof eye makeup. I wouldn't repurchase.
Macadamia Healing Oil Treatment
This was a nice hair oil and smells awesome. However, it's really expensive and there are cheaper hair serums out there that give me the same effects.
Healthy Sexy Hair Soy Renewal Nourishing Styling Treatment
I really liked this hair oil and I used it every single day in Spain. I applied it to my damp hair and when it dried, it seemed that the oil really cut down the level of frizziness. I'd repurchase.
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant
My fave deodorant. I have about 10 backups. (Yes, 10. I always buy them when there's a good sale and I have coupons).
Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Scrub
I liked this face scrub. I used it every morning on my vacation. That said, there's better scrubs out there so I wouldn't repurchase this.
Estee Lauder Take It Away Makeup Remover
I didn't like this as a makeup remover for my face so I used it to clean my brushes and it was fine for that. I wouldn't repurchase.
Stila Smudge Crayon
This was a brown shadow stick. I used it as a subtle thick liner for my upper lashes. I wouldn't repurchase because it didn't really wow me.
Benefit They're Real Mascara
This is a great mascara as you've probably heard. I wouldn't repurchase because there's high end mascaras that I like better than this. Also, sample sizes of this aren't hard to come by so buying a full size isn't really necessary.
I also went through tons of shampoo and conditioner packets during my vacation but I didn't include those because well...I didn't feel like keeping around all those empty packets while I was traveling. Not to mention it's hard to have a true opinion of a product with only one or two uses.
Well that's all the products I used up in July. What product do you go through at least one container a month??
