M-61 JetGlow Cream and Serum* - Review

Lovely readers, I know that we are all very familiar with Sephora and Ulta.  But have you guys ever been to a Bluemercury store?  I went to my first one a couple of months ago when they had a grand opening.  It was a really fun introduction to the store that included cupcakes, champagne, and makeovers.  Bluemercury offers many of the brands we love like Nars and Bobbi Brown.

M-61 is a skincare line created by Marla Malcolm Beck, the CEO and co-founder of Bluemercury.
Marla received input from more than 300 makeup artists and estheticians, combined that with her 13 years of experience in performing spa treatments and put that knowledge into this skincare line.  She uses the best of the skin ingredients loved by dermatologists (like glycolics and peptides) and combined those with powerful natural ingredients.

The M-61 JetGlow Cream and JetGlow Serum are the brand's first anti-aging products.  They both claim to improve the clarity, tone, texture, and radiance of the skin.

The M-61 JetGlow Cream contains 5.7% glycolic acid and peptides and will smooth the appearance of wrinkles.

The M-61 JetGlow Serum is a slightly more concentrated form of the JetGlow Cream, it contains 5.9% glycolic acid.

These 2 products are not to be used together and should be applied at night.  I first used the JetGlow Cream for 3 weeks.   I applied it in the evenings after washing and toning my face.  I can honestly say that I noticed some lightening of my dark spots within in a week of using this face cream!  I also used the JetGlow Serum for several weeks.  Over the course of about 2 months I really noticed an improvement in my skin's texture and some lightening of my hyper pigmentation (which is my biggest skin concern right now).

The cream retails for $92 and the serum retails for $98.  Because I used the cream first, I saw the best and most dramatic results with that.  It's really a matter of preference if you prefer a serum or a cream.  I think they are equally amazing!

These products can be purchased online or in any Bluemercury store.

Disclaimer: I received this product for review, however all statements are 100% honest and my own.
