July Ipsy Bag

I hope everyone had a great weekend!

Ipsy is a monthly beauty subscription service.  For just $10 a month you receive 4-6 deluxe samples and sometimes a few full size products.  Everything comes in a cute little makeup bag which is different each month.

This month's theme is "Sensationally Sunkissed" and the bag is bright pink with scalloping on the sides.  I've read other people say that it looks like a ravioli and I definitely agree!

I received 5 items this month.

Be Fine Food Skin Care Daily Moisturizer with SPF 15 - Full size $24
The full size of this is 1.7oz and the one I received was 1.5oz so this is a good sized sample.  I have a rather large back log of moisturizers I need to get through so I may just give this away.

Whet Nail Polish in Facetious  - Full size $15
The full size of this item is 0.5oz and this sample is 0.3oz so this is another great sized sample.  Right now I have about a million blue nail polishes so I'm not sure if I'll keep this for myself.

BareMinerals 5 in 1 BB Eye Shadow - Full size $18
This is a teeny tiny sample.  I can't get past the color of the shadow that I received.  It's a really dull brown color.  I tried to wear it and it just made my eyelids look like I smeared mud on them.  Not sure what to do with this item either.

Hang Ten Dark Tanning Oil SPF 8 - Full size $11.99
Another deluxe sample item.  I actually like tanning oils, I know...shame on me.  We received a sunblock from the brand Hang Ten a few Ipsy bags ago but I have yet to use that.  I'll use this the next time I go to the beach.

Pixi Tinted Brilliance Balm - Full size $14
I believe that Ipsy gave out 2 shades of this balm and I got the shade with no tint which I kind of lame.  Why make a product with "tinted" in the name and make a non-tinted shade??  It's a fine balm though with a slight minty taste.

Well, that's all the contents of my July Ipsy bag.  Overall, I'd say this month's bag was just "meh".  Nothing was too awful (cough...water in a can...cough) but nothing was very exciting either.  However as you can see for the $10 I spent, I definitely made my money back and then some!  If you're interested in signing up for Ipsy you may use my referral link HERE.

What did you get in your bag this month?
