Today I'll be discussing the very popular NYX Butter Glosses. If you read beauty blogs or watch beauty Youtube videos you've certainly seen these glosses. They are on almost every beauty blogger's favorites list. I have yet to see someone who does not love these.
I have the shades Angel Food Cake, Vanilla Cream Pie, Strawberry Parfait, Sugar Cookie, Raspberry Tart, and Red Velvet. Gotta love the dessert names!
These glosses are amazing. They soften and condition and feel like butter on the lips, hence the name. :)

After these photos were taken, I received a Butter Gloss in my June Ipsy bag so I've added that one to this post. I received the shade Creme Brulee.
The NYX Butter Glosses aren't the least bit sticky and the best part...they smell like cupcakes!
Some of the lighter shades I got are very similar. These glosses are pigmented enough to use alone or as lipstick toppers. I like to use the lighter shades if I need to tone down a darker lipstick. My favorites are Angel Food Cake for a lovely nude and Raspberry Tart and Red Velvet for a bright pop of color.

Because these glosses are not sticky, their wear time isn't up there with a MAC Lipglass for example. However, I still highly recommend the NYX Butter Glosses! They are super affordable at around $5 each. And don't forget if you get them at Ulta, you can get a few and always use your $3.50 off coupon! And as always, keep an eye out for sales.
Do you have these glosses? Do you love them too??
