Last week I came back from a trip that was half vacation and half business. I wanted makeup that was appropriate for nights out as well as workdays. Because of this 2-in-1 trip, I had a difficult time deciding what beauty products to pack. So be prepared, because I packed a ton!
I put most of my makeup in this Sonia Kashuk travel makeup bag. Everything that can possibly spill or explode goes in super stylish plastic baggies.
Here's everything in the plastic baggies:
Shower products: I packed my Schick Intuition razor which I love for travel because it's got that little solid piece of soap attached to the actual razor. There's also a little face wash, a body wash, and some random travel shampoos and conditioners that I've accumulated over the years.
Face products: I packed cleansing towelettes, toner that I put into a little bottle myself, a microdermabrasion scrub (I only brought this because I was going to be away for a week and I like to do a scrub at least once a week), and my face and eye moisturizers.
Here I've got my travel deodorant, a perfume solid, some lotion, and several little perfume samples.
For my hair all I brought was a 1" curling iron, a travel size of my fave hairspray, and a L'oreal hair oil.
Here's the inside of the makeup bag:
Eye products: Urban Decay Vice 2 palette, Maybelline Color Tattoos, some fake lashes and glue, my Shu Uemura eyelash curler, YSL mascara, and about a million eyeliners.
Face Products: Too Faced and Betty-Lou Manizer bronzers, Mary-Lou Manizer highlighter, BareMinerals primer, Double Wear foundation and powder, NYX and YSL concealers, and Nars Orgasm blush.
Lip products: I packed a mix of glosses and lipsticks including MAC, YSL, Urban Decay, Tarte, BareMinerals, and Lorac.
Ok yes, I know I packed a ridiculous amount of beauty products! I did actually use most things though.
I know I went over everything quickly so if you have questions about any specific products, please let me know. And if you have any tips for me on how to have the strength to not pack almost everything I own, please share! :)
