I received the Spicy Natural Eye Shadow Palette. The package is clear plastic and it includes a sponge/brush.
There are no shadow names, I shall call them (from L-R) Champagne, Bronze, Taupe, Purple, Gold. Once I swatched these on my fingers and arm I was in love!
I used this palette to create a bronze/purple smoky eye for a blogger event I attended last weekend. I posted the photo below to my Instagram.
Here's a closeup of the eye look.
If you want to create a complete eye look you will definitely need other shadows for highlight and transitions colors. I used my Too Faced Chocolate Bar Palette to complete this look.
I started with Maybelline Color Tattoo in Bad to the Bronze on my entire lid. Then I used the BA Star bronze/coppery shade on the entire lid. I used the purple shade on the outer "V". I used the Taupey/brown shade along the upper and lower lashline. I placed the champagne color in my inner corners.
Once again, my camera washed out the vibrancy of this look. It was super bright and shimmery in person. I had this eye look on for a total of about 6 hours and it looked just as vibrant at the end of the night as it did when I first applied it.
Overall I love this eye shadow palette! You can get this palette for $8.75 HERE, WHAT?!?! That is an insanely great price for the quality of these shadows. There's other palette shades available as well as tons of other types of makeup products on the BA Star website. I for one am now extremely curious about this brand.
Have you tried any BA Star products??
p.s. I'll be in California later this week into next week so my posting schedule will be a little off.
