Here are all the beauty products I used up in March.
Secret Clinical Strength Deodorant
My go to deodorant. Not much to say except that it works for me. I buy these whenever they are on a good sale and I have coupons. I probably have a year's worth of backups right now.
Borghese Body Creme
I believe this came in one of my Sample Society beauty subscription boxes last year. It's got an herbal scent but not too overwhelming. I kept it at work and used it as a hand cream. I didn't love it and wouldn't buy it on my own.
Julep Luxe Care Hand Creme
This came in a giveaway I won. It's a good thick hand cream but I wouldn't buy it since there's perfectly good hand creams that are cheaper and more easily accessible at the drugstore.
Clairol Colorseal Conditioner
This came in a box of hair color. I love the conditioners that come in hair color boxes and wish I could buy them on their own because they are so conditioning.
healthysexyhair Soy Tri-Wheat Leave In Conditioner
This came in an Ipsy bag. I think it made my hair easier to comb through when wet but I'm not really sure. I wouldn't purchase this because I'm just not sure it did anything for me. It's a good bottle though and I always save these little bottles to pour my larger products into for travel or to leave at work.
Delaney Beauty Reserve Rejuvenating Eye Creme
This came in one of my previous beauty subscription boxes. This was a decent sized sample and it lasted me a few months since I only used one drop per eye. It did absolutely nothing for me. At $135
for a full size I would never ever purchase this on my own.
m-61 Power Glow Peel
This is a glycolic peel pad and had a strong tingly feeling but I'd need more than one application to see if this works for me. That said, I don't see myself ever purchasing this on my own.
Ahava Purifying Mud Mask
This was a decent mask. It made my skin brighter but my GlamGlow is so much better so I wouldn't purchase this.
GlamGlow Thirstymud Hydrating Treatment
This is the moisturizing mask in the GlamGlow line. I love the other 2 masks in this line and own them both. I did love this mask since my skin can be very dry but I think I'll have to sample it a few more times before I'd commit to purchasing a full jar.
GlamGlow Brightmud Eye Treatment
This is a very strange product. It looks like dirty liquidy mud. You are supposed to leave it on your under eyes and then wipe it off after 3 minutes. I didn't notice any difference whatsoever. I wouldn't purchase this.
Smashbox Photo Finish Primer
This was a good primer. I felt that this made my foundation last a bit longer and go on smoothly. I have a deluxe size sample of this product so I don't really have a need to purchase this at this time.
Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Bamboo Pink
Long last, huh? I can't even remember how long I've had this lipstick. Easily a few years because I'm certain it was a gift with purchase and I can't remember the last time I purchased anything from Clinique. I only used this in the mornings for work because it's a very subtle color. The formula for me was the opposite of long lasting. By the time I got to work (25 minute commute) there was no color on my lips. I would not purchase this.
Smashbox HD Foundation - not shown
I had a sample of this from getting color matched at Sephora. I didn't really like it because it didn't feel long lasting and it didn't have the best coverage for me.
I hope you enjoyed checking out my trash for the month of March! :) Again, a lot of it was samples but I still feel a huge sense of accomplishment even getting rid of those. I think I'm going to start doing these posts monthly. The last few times I did an empties post I waited so long in between posts that I just had way too many products to talk about and the posts became too long.
Empties posts are among my favorites to read or watch. What are your favorite types of beauty posts??
