Ulta Haul

Hi everyone, I hope you all had a great weekend!

Recently I had a Friends & Family coupon at Ulta and I went a little nutso.  The coupon was 20% off and of course I shopped online so that I could use my Discover card which had 10% cashback.  Some of the stuff I bought was already on sale and then really with the F&F and my Discover card, it was 30% off on top of that, so that makes me feel better.  :)

Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain and ColorBurst Lacquer Balm - $7.99
These are usually on sale BOGO 50% so you almost never have to pay the full $7.99 for them.  I have a bunch of other colors and I just love them.

There was a deal where if you spent a certain amount on Revlon you got a free Parfumerie Scented Nail Enamel and I chose the shade Wintermint.  These sell for $5.99.

derma e Microdermbrasion Scrub - $23.99
I've talked about this on my blog a million times and here's my post if you'd like to read about why I love this scrub so much.

Smashbox Try It Kit - $19
I've never tried anything from Smashbox so I figured this would be a nice introduction to it.  This kit includes their famous face primer, the lid primer, a black eye liner, a mascara, and a lip gloss. I'm excited to try these items.

Tarte To Brighter Days Complexion Essentials Set - $29
Again, I never tried anything from Tarte and this will be a good starter kit.  Plus, it has the Marajuca Oil which I've been wanting to try forever.  This set includes a clay face mask, the Marajuca Oil, a full size blush, and a sample of finishing powder.  You should know that the blush that is included is VERY shimmery when swatched on my finger.  Also, the tube of the clay face mask is TINY, only enough for one application.  That one application is great though, really made my face feel clean and bright after.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Eye Shadow - $6.99
I have one of these in a green color and I love it.  I got the colors Bad to the Bronze and Tenacious Teal.  I've heard such great things about Bad to the Bronze so I was excited to get that and I just love vibrant teal for a fun eye shadow color.

Lorac Rockin' Red Hot Mini Lip Gloss Collection - $17
I've never owned anything from Lorac and all these looked so pretty and the packaging was just so cute!  This includes 8 mini glosses which I will review once I've used and swatched them.

That's my entire haul.  Go figure, that I just got another 20% coupon from Ulta.  They are killing me here, my wallet hates me!  I honestly can't think of what else to get because even though I bought these 2 Color Tattoos I'm actually on an eye shadow and nail polish diet.  Can anyone think of anything that I should try that is not a shadow or a polish?

Do you have any of these items?  What do you think?

Have a great day everyone!

  3. I was at Ulta this past weekend using my second F&F coupon---I guess they want us to go broke, lol---and I had already thrown the Tarte set into my bag, then I swatched the blush, and man....it's SHIMMERY! Whoa! I put it back, I just didn't think it would look good on me.
Thanks for sharing! So many great things!

    1. That blush is extremely shimmery which is annoying but I'm excited to try the oil and the powder. I think this second 20% coupon I'll be using in store! Thanks for visiting!

  4. YES! Ulta is killing me with these coupons too! What is the color of that Tarte blush? I got one in my holiday set and I really like it but mine has shimmer too. I would like it a little more without the shimmer. Its called Memorable. I really like the reddish one that have. The Revlon Color Blast Lacquers and Balms are awesome! I swear it when I bought them they were like $8-$9 at CVS UGH lol You got some great stuff here! I NEED to go on a lip product and eyeshadow diet too. Have you tried Too Faced's Chocolate Soleil bronzer? I really like that and its not eyeshadow :) Or highlighters? The Physicians Formula Glow Pearls in Beige Pearl is great!

    1. Actually, I have a little thing of the Chocolate Soleil bronzer AND the PF Glow pearls highlighter LOL! Guess we have similar tastes. :)

The blush is called Adored. I still haven't tried it on my face, to be honest I'm a little scared to haha! I'm obsessed w/ the Revlon lip crayons right now!

      Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Yes my dear, get it now whilst it's on sale, I know it's our fave! :) I actually bought two b/c of the BOGO50% sale.

I think I'm going to use my other 20% coupon in the actual store. I'm not sure if that will be dangerous though haha!

      Thanks for visiting!

  6. Oh man, I think I missed the F&F! Great picks. Let me know how the Revlon Scented Nail polish is. I've been wanting to try that, but it sounds like a bad mixture lol.

    1. I'll probably do a NOTD w/ that nail polish sometime soon so I'll def. be reporting back about it! I took a quick whiff of it and it still smells very nail polish-y to me haha.

I love your blog and thanks for visiting mine!

  7. I have the Bad to The Bronze color tattoo and I was disappointed with it. The color was darker than I anticipated but I hear everyone raving about it so maybe I got a bad batch? That tarte kit looks absolutely amazing though!

  8. I love Bad to the Bronze! It's one of if not my favorite cream eyeshadows. If you go to Ulta again I recommend trying the Essence Gel Liner. I got mine for like $1.50! Essence also makes a nail art dotting tool if you're interested in one of those. I haven't used mine yet, but I figured it'd be good to have!

  9. Wow that Lorac blue-ish, purple-ish shade is STUNNING! I don't live near an Ulta so I've showed some self restraint...so far! haha! (there's still the internet!) Anyway, if you're looking for some shopping inspiration, I say try the Lipstick Queen products! I've heard amazing things and they're pretty pricey (perfect time to pull out a coupon!)

    Great haul! :)

  11. WOW! You did good! I'm interested to see what you do with the Color Tattoo eyeshadows! I'm not usually a fan of colored eyeshadows, but I'm sure once I see what you have in mind, it'll change my mind :) I'm curious about the Revlon balm stains... I feel like balms never stay on me and I end up opting for something more substantial that you need, like, paint thinner to get off lol! What's the longevity like??

    1. Oh, I prefer colored shadows over neutrals so I'll be using these all over my lips to create some fun looks. As for the balms, the balm stains actually say a decent amount of time. The Lacquer balms stay but not as long. I love them though and love their minty smell! Thanks for visiting!
