Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs - Review

In the spring/summer when the sun is shining and our legs are bare, we all wish for nice smooth looking legs!  I don't know about you, but even with a tan, my legs are never an even color.  I also bruise very easily and they really show up on me (even though I have a natural light tan).

I had heard about Airbrush Legs a while ago but never got around to trying it out till this past summer.  I figured it was kind of a sham, how great could it really be??  Well, I was hugely mistaken because this stuff IS in fact great!

You would think that since it has "airbrush" in the name and it's in a spray can, that you are supposed to spray it right onto your legs.  Nope!  Even the directions say to spray it directly into your hands.

I spray it into my hand (in the sink!) rub them together and apply all over my legs...front and back.  This stuff is basically a liquid body foundation and it does take a lot of sprays to cover both legs to my satisfaction.  It's also pretty messy in your sink because the spraying makes the liquid go everywhere.  BUT, the end result is amazing.  It gives my legs a tan even color and leaves a subtle shimmer that is gorgeous!  In photos it almost looks like I'm wearing nude pantyhose.

I apologize for the lack of pics, it honestly doesn't show up as a swatch in photos.

I love this stuff and can't wait until it's skirt weather here in Boston again so that I can use it again!  However, when I finish this can, I'll probably buy the lotion version next.  I highly recommend!  Have a great day everyone!  :)

  1. Oh I have the lotion version- it's great, makes such a big difference! Also I like that it's NOT a self-tanner so no weird smell and it doesn't stain clothes, you just wash it off in the shower.

    1. You are right Lazy, no nasty fake tanner smell! And yes, I forgot to mention that it comes right off in the shower. So convenient!

  2. I've always wanted to try it but thought it was really the kind where you spray on yourself! Thank you for making sure we know that's NOT what you do with this lol! I will definitely have to give this a try when spring/summer arrives =)

    1. Liz, I'd def. recommend just going with the lotion version. I'm not even sure why they made the spray can version, perhaps to go along with the "airbrush" in the name??

I know, I also can't wait till the spring so I can use it again!
